This series consists primarily of black-and-white photographs documenting the political life of United States Senator Strom Thurmond. The Photographs Series document Strom Thurmond's early years, his family and careers. These are photographs of Strom Thurmond as a baby, his parents, his siblings, as well as the Edgefield home where he was raised.
